Let’s face it, not everyone can afford or wants to pay $44 for workout capris. So here are some creative ways to get the Zumba® look for a more affordable price.

Many retail stores are now offering more fashionable workout clothing.
Kohl’s: Kohl’s is my all-time favorite place to shop for – well everything. But they do have a great selection of fashionable workout clothes. I recently found some FILA Sports brand racerback tops that are brightly colored and for a great price. I think I paid about $8 each. I also got a pair of patterned capris that I had been searching high and low for online and was surprised to find a great striped pair (Tek Gear brand) for only $12.59 at Kohl’s! There are many other brands offering patterned capris and brightly colored tops.
Old Navy: Another great place to find brightly colored active wear and patterned capris. I was surprised to walk into a store a few weeks ago and find an entire section of great work out clothing. I had no idea that Old Navy had such a large selection. I love to see so many mannequins too so I can see tops and bottoms paired together which Old Navy does all throughout their stores.

Make your own
Have you seen other members of your gym walk in with a fringed top? Or maybe a slashed shoulder top? You can take any ordinary top and modify it into your own cute and stylish creation. You can change a racerback into a halter or convert a crew neck to a v-neck. Cutting/modifying your shirts can also be good if you have some old Zumba® wear that is now too big because you lost weight.

I add eBay in this list because you can find wholesalers selling Zumba® wear but don’t have the expensive shipping costs as Zumba.com. This is where I got a few items just starting out. At the time, shipping from Zumba.com was $8 no matter how much or little you ordered. So if I wanted to purchase just 1 top, adding an additional $8 for shipping was just too much.

Zumbafashion.com
This is a discount Zumba® wear site that has great prices and low cost shipping. From what I understand, Zumba.com doesn’t deep discount items. Instead they send those items to zumbafashion.com. If you are part of the Zumba Instructor Network (ZIN), then you can also get your ZIN discount! Zumbafashion.com offers clothing for both women and men as well as some instructor only clothing. Because these are closeout items, it can be difficult to find your size.
Between finding great deals from retail stores, modifying/creating your own Zumba® fashions and discount sites, you should be able to get your hands on some cute work out clothing that will make your friends envious!
